About Landings Credit Union

HISTORY

Landings Credit Union was founded in 1953 as Tempe School Employees Credit Union in the rural town of Tempe, Arizona. A group of educators had the idea that if they pooled their resources, they would be able to provide affordable financial services geared specifically towards teachers’ needs. This dream became a reality and for more than 60 years, we have been strengthening our communities by providing affordable financial solutions in a family environment for our members.

In 2013, we started writing a new chapter and changed our name to Landings Credit Union. Our name carries the legacy of our humble beginnings forward; where you are connected with people who share your values and want the best for you and our community. This name reflects our commitment to our community, and working with our members to make their dreams a reality.

COMMUNITY

With financial contribution, resource donations and staff volunteerism, Landings Credit Union supports many causes in our communities. Supporting our community is about working for the greater good of those we serve. It’s about showing up, sleeves rolled, ready to get to work. Together we’re on the right path, helping our members, each other and our communities.
